Ah, hello. I'm afraid I'm not quite sure how I came to be here- wherever "here" is- but if there's anything anyone could tell me, I'd certainly be glad to hear it. In particular, if anyone could direct me to the nearest place I could acquire more than just one change of clothes. Not that I don't appreciate being given one, but...

*doesn't bother elaborating beyond that; his ridiculously long, silken robes probably speak for themselves just fine. seems about to leave it at that, when something seems to prod him and there's a soft but stern "absol!" from just out of sight of the screen*

Ah, yes, something rather warmer would probably be for the best, as well.

*the following "...sol." possibly sounds less than satisfied, but by then Sion's already turning off the broadcast*

No idea. Just one of a lot of things about this place that makes no sense.

Mmm, she's a Clefairy. And she's not the only one, either - somehow, I have several different ones following me at this point...

It looks like you have an Absol?

So it would seem, though I certainly don't remember doing anything to get it...

Everyone's partnered up with one to start out. It's how I met Rose, actually... Absols are dependable, though. You've got a good partner.

Well, that's certainly good to know.

You'll probably end up finding more to join you, too. There are lots of different types out there. Birds, bugs, fish, plant beasts, horses that are somehow on fire...

[you'd think he would be able to wrap his head around that last one by now, but nope...]

It is all a little hard to believe, though.

Isn't it? Doesn't make it any less real, though.

Well, I don't know about that; it could all still be a dream, after all...

Ah, well, it really isn't. I mean, even I'd have trouble staying asleep this long. And you, stay asleep for more than a few hours?

Violet City. It's... mmm, about a ten day walk from New Bark Town, if I remember right.

Watch out for the wild Pokémon along the way. They tend to come out of nowhere and attack travelers. Your partner shouldn't have much trouble protecting you, though.

Well, Rose is really motivated, somehow. It's all I can do sometimes to keep her from overworking everyone else...
