*the video cuts in to a certain silver-haired king, seated in what some may recognize as the grassy meadow in the southeast part of Pewter City. He looks rather thoughtful, apparently oblivious to the Swablu perched on his head between the horns that still linger from the outbreak a month ago*

In another week, I'll have been in this world for seven months already. While I realize that there are some who have been here much longer, I can't help thinking it's quite a long time. Were it not for the reassurances that time in our own worlds does not pass while we're here, I'd be quite concerned indeed for what state the kingdom would be in by now.

*a pause, then he continues*

Admittedly, though, this world does have its diversions. However now I wonder, does anyone know whether, after a gym leader has been defeated once, will the accept a challenge from the same person again? It would certainly be interesting to test out various new combinations and strategies, after all...

*of course, should this talk of challenging gym leaders make one curious enough to look, you might notice an open case containing a newly completed set of all sixteen badges sitting in his lap before the feed ends :)*

*at first, the video appears to be accidental, the 'gear held somewhat off to the side in one hand and thus giving a slightly crooked, odd-angled view in which one can make out Sion smiling and waving goodbye to some of the girls from the Celadon gym. Once the farewells are finished, however, he turns his attention back to the 'gear, now holding it up to better focus on the image on himself. The horns he acquired from the outbreak-inflicted mutations are plainly visible, to the point he's not even bothering making the futile effort to hide or disguise them*

I must say, if the trainers and leaders of the gyms here in this region are as pleasant as the young ladies here, collecting the badges will hardly feel like any trouble at all. Perhaps I'll have to consider paying them a visit again sometime once I've finished...

*he pauses, then adds*

Ah, and by the way, if you're free, would you care to join me for a drink sometime while I'm in the area, Arturia?

*he moves to turn off the feed, glancing up at a distinctive "swa~" from overhead as the video cuts out*

*those who are in the immediate area outside the Celadon gym, meanwhile, might be just in time to see a swablu swoop in and land right on Sion's head, settling in quite comfortably as his horns provide a natural nest, much to Sion's apparent chagrin*

And just who let you out, Whisper?

*the only response he gets is a content "blu~"*
