[Route 29] Drawing/Action - Goldenrod City ((backdated to the 3rd!))
*so you know what's frustrating? Having your 'gear be acting up when you're trying to contact someone.
You know what's even MORE frustrating? Trying to use a feature you've never used before to try to somehow cram a short message into a small space. Still, he manages in the end, albeit with a much shorter message than he originally started with:*

*...of course, he's of the opinion that his penmanship on the 'gear is atrocious and that even a brief note to a friend shouldn't sound quite to terse, but he is so done with trying to mess with it.
Reply/bump into him in Goldenrod?*

No, no you have not. [ Curiosity shows in her eyes, rare but prominent enough. ] Is it with you?
no subject
It is, yes. Though it's not something we want widely known just yet, so perhaps somewhere more private...?
no subject
[ It has been some time since she's had a private conversation so it's a little lost on her as she looks around. ]
Where do you suggest we go?

At the Breeding Centre. It is not terribly far from here. [ Watch out Sion, she may con you into buying a Pokemon while you're there. ]
no subject
*...not that he doesn't know where the breeding center is, but it's the principle of the matter.... though would it really be conning if he had no real objections to being talked into buying something from her?*
no subject
[ Motioning with a hand for him to follow her, she leads without hesitation. The walk through Goldenrod City is brisk, but considerate enough to ensure she doesn't lose him. ]
Business has been well as of late, but I still wonder if there is more I should be doing to promote it. [ She's trying small talk, but of course it circles back around to guilt. ] I fear it will falter at some point because of my poor judgment for business.
no subject
From what I've seen, that seems unlikely. It's certainly become one of the best-known businesses here, and your ideas have always been quite successful, from what I've seen.
no subject
[ Oh no, she can't take credit for anything. ] Nay, the help I receive from others has been plentiful. Were it not for the combined effort of those who care to see the business flourish as well as those who care for me, it would have fallen under in my care. I run myself ragged with work, but when I get to be too hard on myself, Lancer pulls me away--that is what helps keep everything flowing smoothly, yes?

[ Not that she would ever deny she was good at it. Being a general of her own kingdom's army gave her tremendous power and with it the skill to learn to make the right decisions. ]
I thought we were speaking of my skill as an artisan for a business, one that I know very little about. [ Not that she's not saying outright she has no children, the act of raising them is something lost on her. ] Suppose that anyone could learn, but here we are.
[ How convenient she can cut this conversation short by rushing to be the one to hold open the door for him. ]
no subject
The two aren't necessarily so different... though so we are.
no subject
What a proper gentleman... ]
Rare is it that anyone disturbs me while I am here.
no subject
Then I imagine it will suit our purposes nicely.
*waits until the door is closed again and the two of them are seated before continuing*
I don't know if you're aware, but Ryner and I have been doing a fair amount of research into the so-called "legendary" pokemon...
no subject
Ah, but I do not mean to be rude. Please, continue.
no subject
*takes out a small box, placing it on the table as he speaks*
And while we were unable to catch a glimpse of it ourselves...
*removes the cover from the box, revealing a beautiful silver feather nestled inside*
We did manage to find proof that it at least had been there.
no subject
You are sure without a doubt that it belongs to this Pokemon? How impressive...
no subject
It isn't much, but it's at least proof that such pokemon do indeed spend time in places accessible to humans, at least on occasion.
no subject
[ Remarkable isn't it how legends come alive? Not that he's aware of the one before him, but he does hold proof of another within his grasp. ]
I would not know what to do if Team Rocket were to get a hold of one.
no subject
That's why Ryner and I aren't planning to reveal this to just anyone. It wouldn't do to give the wrong people ideas, after all.
