[Route 29] Video/Action - Azalea Town
*Hello, Route, have a certain silver-haired king with an almost uncharacteristically bewildered expression on his face*
Now, I realize that there's a number of Pokemon which can evolve in more than one various ways, such as how Eevee can become one of seven different ones, but...
*he turns the camera, panning past a Ninjask that's sitting quietly in the grass nearby to zoom in on a Shedinja*
...But is it normal for one to evolve into two separate ones at once?

Re: [video]
*he's in luck, then, because looks like Ryner's explaining the shedinja incident anyway*

It's definitely one of the creepier ghost types, that's for sure. But yeah, it's kinda weird how only Nincada does that. You'd think it could be possible for the other bug types too.
Re: [video]
Well, it certainly begs the question of where the ghost comes from in the first place...

Larry doesn't even know you and he worries for you, bro.]
Yeah...I mean, it's not like Nincada died or anything... Man, that just makes it creepier.
[Internally sobbing.]
Re: [video]
That is the strange part. I'd heard of some ghost types possessing objects before, but in this case there's the question of where the ghost came from in the first place...
Maybe Nincada's shell has a spirit of its own? I don't even know why I'm trying to be logical with Pokemon, though.
Re: [video]
That still leaves the question of why just that species and none of the other insects...
Now you're making me imagine ghost Kakuna shells and I don't like it.
